No-one can go it alone.
It takes a community to raise a thriving workforce.

We know that looking for work - work that works for where you are at - can be overwhelming. We also know that no-one travels this journey alone...

It takes role models to help us create a vision of the future and motivate us.
It takes educators, instructors and coaches sharing knowledge and insights for us to build skills and knowledge.
It takes mentors and peers showing us the way through systems and industries.
It takes peers sharing the journey, encouraging us and networking towards the future.
And lastly, it takes service providers to fill in the gaps and deliver important professional services.

Sometimes, it takes stepping out of your comfort zone, believing that you are worthy of the opportunities that are out there and being open to the assistance. If one service isn’t a good fit for where you are at, know that there is more out there and it might take time to get into the right groove.

If you need a guide, advocate or counsellor head to the Youth Services section and find yourself a youth worker. If you need a mentor, test out your networking skills and approach some people you admire. If you need emergency services, accomodation, legal or financial assistance, head to the appropriate sections below before embarking on the employment journey.

Below is a compilation of external services, websites, links and resources that may complement your JobHive journey - the journey towards education, employment and financial independence. So, if you don’t know where to start, take a look at the list below and reach out to one of them. Call up, email around or walk into an office and see what they have to offer. You’ll soon find your way. Good luck!
